Lil Pump – Welcome To The Party

Lil Pump - Welcome To The Party

For the last few years, Florida has been a musical hot spot, grooming young artists from the SoundCloud generation. Building Smokepurpp, XXXTentacion, Denzel Curry and Robb Bank$ among others, the surrounding areas of Miami have shown to be a nesting ground for young rappers to make their come-ups. One of the most successful of the bunch has been Lil Pump, catering to a younger crowd and developing a signature sound at the extremely young age of 17. With his tracks “Gucci Gang” and “Esskeetit,” Pump shows to have a command of what the kids want. With “Welcome To The Party” being released last week with French Montana, Diplo, Zhavia Ward and Pump himself, Jetski took it upon himself to tackle the beat solo, sharing a new version of the track with the other guest vocals removed.

The danceable cut uses the same instrumental as the original Deadpool 2 song as Pump lets his fans enjoy his energy without having to sit through any other features beforehand. While French certainly did his thing, Pump felt the need to play around with the track and release his solo version, upstaging his colleagues on SoundCloud. Sitting at a mere minute and 36 seconds, the song is short but it is bound to welcome anybody to the party in a prompt fashion, bouncing and getting listeners hyped quickly.

What do you think of Pump’s solo version of “Welcome To The Party?”

Quotable Lyrics:

Welcome to the trap, got my grandma selling crack
I make what you make in one year just sitting down just moving packs
Make a bitch do jumping jacks, like she was an acrobat
Got these bitches looking at me crazy ’cause I got face tats
